The studio enjoys a leafy aspect overlooking Australian Technology Park with easy access and plenty of parking available. We offer a fast-paced, 55-minute full body immersion that fuses dance, Pilates and sculpting exercises at the ballet barre to give you a chiseled body – and fast! By using a series of isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches, the Xtend Barre system sculpts the body proportionally so that all body parts are equally challenged. This total body workout serves to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch the body from top to bottom, from inside out. The end result is a long and lean physique… without added bulk. Developed from a dance / Pilates background, the Xtend Barre workout combines the amazing results of dance with the principles of strength and safety in Pilates. At Xtend Barre Alexandria we teach a multi-level, safe, fun and effective class that anyone can join and thrive in. No prior Pilates experience or dance training required. Meet you at the Barre!

Amy grew up on the Central Coast NSW, and trained in dance since a toddler. Graduate with a Certificate IV in Performing Arts, Amy travelled around the globe internationally and domestically as a professional dancer. Through Amy’s passion for movement, this led her to Yoga. She fell in love with the cohesion of blending breath with align based movement. Performing professionally as a dancer and teaching dance for over 5 years, she had a true passion for teaching movement which lead her to complete her SmartFLOW Teacher Training with Annie Carpenter.
Amy’s classes are a juicy flow with strong body awareness, always capturing an element of fun and laughter with students. Her personal practise is reflective of her teachings.
An intelligent mix of strong alignment and foundation with fluid transitions. In her down time she loves the outdoors, bush walking being a personal favourite, reading books and blogs on pretty much anything health related.
Tory’s first yoga class, over 12 years ago, was not a graceful experience. She felt lost, uncoordinated and self-conscious. Never would she have believed she’d be a full-time you teacher years later. As a teacher, being able to share her knowledge, experiences & spirit with others is a gift that she is always grateful for. She wants her clients to feel supported and free to explore their body, mind and spirit in a space free from judgement and stress. She teaches from her heart and always comes wearing a smile and a burst of positive energy. Her yoga practice started as a physical activity, but it wasn’t long before the holistic benefits seeped into every aspect of her life. Yoga challenges and balances her. With a penchant for many of life’s pleasures and the ability to burn the candle at both ends, yoga is her trusty equilibrium. Tory’s classes are a mix of strength, stamina, grace and lightness.
